Synopsis

The Apothecary Diaries follows the story of Maomao, a young girl from a humble background who is unexpectedly thrust into the Imperial Palace after being kidnapped. She is taken in as a maid to the Emperor's concubine, where she becomes entangled in the intrigues and mysteries of court life.

With her exceptional knowledge of medicine, Maomao uses her skills to uncover hidden secrets and solve various mysteries in the palace. However, as she digs deeper, she realizes that not everything is as it seems, and she must navigate the dangerous waters of palace politics and intrigue while trying to protect herself from those who may see her as a threat.
